The fleet currently has about 25 boats, with more expected to be purchased soon. All privately-owned boats are stored at and raced organized by Raffles Marina in Tuas West district, and yet another almost 8 boat fleet of Singapore Sailing Association boats that are stored in National Sailing Center in East Coast district
SB20 Singapore office has split the season into four major parts, aligning the largest sailing events in Singapore:
- Singapore Straits Regatta - (January) - based off marvelous One'15 marina
- MayHem Regatta - (May) - Raffles Marina's special occasion to celebrate Monsoon turn
- Western Circuit Regatta - (August) - co-organized by Singapore Management University and Raffles Marina, this regatta is the largest event happening in the West of Singapore
- ...and of course SB20 Singapore Nationals - (November)
...with four series of SB20 Singapore battles:
- Spring Cup - (February to May) - 5 series, up to 5 Windward/Leeward races;
- Squall Cup - (May to August) - 3 series, up to 5 Windward/Leeward races;
- Autumn Series- (September to November) - 4 series, up to 5 Windward/Leeward races;
- X-Mas Series - (November to January) - 3 series, up to 5 Windwared/Leeward races;
Approximately two racing opportunities are scheduled for each month, however there are many other Raffles Marina organized club races taking place almost every weekend, where SB20 boats could also join, either on their own, or racing for fun with IRC (0.975) or PY (0.915) handicaps.
The SB20 offers exciting action with very close racing (finishes are often separated by a few seconds), incredible speeds (up to 20 knots here during Squall Cup), and a fun and supporting atmosphere.
Rules, boatspeed, sail trim and boat handling discussions are organized to help improve everyone's abilities.
The fleet also organizes social activities including barbeques, parties and participates with boat owners of cruising yachts in larger regional regattas, like Neptune Regatta (Garmin Race to Zero), King's Cup (Thailand) and others.
